Hello and such!

Lately I haven't done much photography at all. I haven't felt motivated to do it, when I have done it the results have been rather meh and so on and so forth. I've also realised my level of skill in photography hasn't improved by much at all for the last year or two. I think this isn't due to me not spending enough quality time with my camera, I simple lack the quantity needed to improve. However I can't really walk around with my DSLR all the time, and that's really what I would need to do in order to take more photos. It's just to bulky. So how can I solve this?

I bought a new phone not too long ago and it actually has a rather good camera. It is not on par with my Canon, not by a long shot, but it takes decent pictures something that is particularly true in high lighting conditions. So I have decided to do a photo challenge of sort. I will upload at least three pictures per week to my tumblr, and I will mainly be using my phone for it (although I wont restrict myself to it, realistically though I wont be carrying my DSLR  around that much). For these pictures I will not impose any sort of quality concerns, I'm not going to care that the lighting isn't perfect, I wont care about imperfect compositions and so forth. That said I will try and take good pictures, but I wont stop myself from posting my photos just because they don't live up to my visions. The goal of all this is quantity.

With this in mind I will also do a large clean up of my gallery, however I will only clean up some of my more recent stuff. I will keep the really old photos in my main gallery out of nostalgia and to showcase my improvement. Some of the tumblr photos might make their way here if I'm happy enough with them.
